At United Standard Industries we pay full attention to detail. We have the latest technology in CNC machining and programming to manufacture parts complete in one set up.
USI utilizes a full range of machinery. The include:

Precision Lathes, from a simple 2-axis manual engine lathe (5 hp)

11-axis Swiss machining.

Sophisticated 7-axis multi-tasking machining twin spindle (25 hp each) with the axis D head.

24 live tool stations and integrated with an advanced computer.

Milling - Horizontal and Vertical mills. They range from 1 to 30 hp with spindle speeds from 1 rpm to 20,000 rpm.
The 3, 4, 5, 7, and 11-axis machines give our customers a competitive edge. As a result, we are known for our capability for producing state-of-the-art piece parts.

Our Inspection Policy
We follow and adhere to timely inspections. The quality and attention to detail are provided with the use of a high accuracy 5-axis coordinate measuring machine with robotic control. A hard copy printout records the resulting measurement.
Our optical comparators at USI provide both direct measurement and measurement using surface illumination. The process inspection is performed by a roving inspector, operator, or both, depending on customer requirements.
We follow our inspection in accordance with standard procedures. All calibration records are done in the required files. We are certified to AS9100D and ISO9001:2015 by Eagle Registrations Inc.
At USI, we employ Statistical Process Control (SPC), as required. If in some cases an inspection plan is not specified, we use 1.0 AQL.
